Summer Sounds Academy: full Orchestra

for rising 6th–9th graders

Biweekly rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday evenings

June 17–July 27
*No rehearsal July 3

Each rehearsal will take place from 6–8pm at Elemental Music’s campus (1906 Olympic Blvd., Santa Monica).

Tuition is $425. There is a 5% discount for multiple enrollments or sibling enrollments across our camp offerings (only one discount may apply per enrollment).

Take your playing to the next level this summer! Join Summer Sounds Academy, an advanced middle school full orchestra led by Josephine Moerschel (“Dr. Jo”), Jason Aiello, and Emily Senchuk. Students will rehearse twice a week with fellow passionate musicians and bring exciting music to life in a full orchestra setting!

Students will also prepare and perform in a final showcase on the last day of the session to share their music with family and friends!

Enrollment information

Accepted instruments: Violin, Viola, Cello, Bass, Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba

There is no audition required for students currently enrolled in our Academy Philharmonic. For students who are not currently enrolled in Academy Philharmonic, please record a video performing any two scales of your choosing and a solo. Audition videos will be due by June 1 and are accepted on a rolling basis.
