We’re excited to launch a new 8-week workshop focused on developing ensemble playing and technique for 4th grade woodwind and brass players who just started playing their instruments in the fall!
Beginning in January 2020, the young musicians enrolled in our Workshop for Winds will have the chance to work with our awesome teachers, Emily Senchuk (of Elemental Band) and Ryan Rowles (a SMMUSD band teacher).
Registration is open to fourth graders playing flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, and trombone. Students must currently be enrolled in their school band class and should have started learning their instruments this fall.
When: Tuesdays 3:45–4:45pm, starting January 14 through March 3
Where: Westside Music Conservatory – 2515 Wilshire Blvd (Wilshire between 25th & 26th)
Cost: $170 (approx. $21/hr of instruction)
Minimum enrollment: 6 students per class - classes will only run if the minimum enrollment is met
