We’re going virtual!
After months of consideration and much planning, Elemental Music will begin our 2020–21 season online. We will continue virtual instruction until it is safe to resume in-person programming.
Every Elemental Music ensemble student will receive:
WEEKLY 60 MINUTE ZOOM “REHEARSALS”
Students explore concepts as a large ensemble for 15 minutes, followed by 45 minutes in smaller sectional breakout rooms that can be instrument-specific, with a low student-to-teacher ratio.
WEEKLY PRACTICE-ALONG VIDEOS
Created by our teachers, these weekly videos focus on specific skills for guided practice at-home!
REGULAR CHECK-IN FEEDBACK
Directors will review video submissions made by students to demonstrate and support new skills learned, providing constructive feedback.
VIRTUAL ENSEMBLE VIDEO SHOWCASE & AT-HOME CONCERT EXPERIENCE
Each unit concludes with the premiere of a virtual ensemble recording! In conjunction with the video premiere, students will receive an at-home performance kit so they can simulate the concert experience with their families.
