We are thrilled to announce our 4th Annual Elemental Music Alumni Competition! We have two divisions to our alumni competition, offering cash prizes and performance opportunities!
Musicians must perform on an approved orchestra or band instrument. Piano is not an accepted instrument in this competition.
HIGH SCHOOL DIVISION - Open to high school juniors and seniors who were previously enrolled in an Elemental Music program (including Bergmann Project).
First prize: $500
Second prize: $300
Third prize: $200
MIDDLE SCHOOL DIVISION - Open to current 8th graders who were previously enrolled in an Elemental Music program (including Bergmann Project) and current Academy Philharmonic students.
First prize: $250
Second prize: $150
Third prize: $100
Winning videos may be used for outreach purposes with your permission.
All applicants must fill out the following application and upload a video recording of a solo work of your choice to YouTube. The recording should not exceed 8 minutes in length.
PLEASE NOTE: videos may be submitted with or without piano accompaniment. Accompaniment tracks are acceptable.
